Southside Farms is owned and operated by Shawn and Tracey Harding. Southside gets it's name from being located on the south side of the Pamlico River in Beaufort County, North Carolina. Originally a tobacco farm, Southside has gone through many changes over the past 20 years. We no longer raise tobacco but still maintain a small grain operation. We have been raising strawberries for 12 years now and have expanded our operation to include blackberries, blueberries, greenhouse tomatoes, spring vegetables, flowers and so much more.We love it here at Southside. Shawn is a graduate of NC State University. He and Tracey have three children. Mandi, Billy and Jonah help on the farm during the spring and summer months. We also feel quite blessed at Southside to employ other family members and friends from church during the busiest times of the year.
