About Us

Southside Farms is a family owned and operated fruit and vegetable farm located in Chocowinity, North Carolina. Shawn and Tracey Harding have been growing produce for the people in our community since 1999. Prior to growing produce we were a typical Eastern North Carolina tobacco and grain farm. We do not grow tobacco now but still continue to grow corn, soybeans and wheat. We are so proud that our sons, Billy and Jonah Harding are now in charge of the daily farming operation and market.   Come visit our farm where you can pick strawberries, blackberries and blueberries in season or let us pick for you. We also grow over 50 varieties of fruits and vegetables. We love what we do and hope you will enjoy the fruits of our labor. Come see us, stay a while, enjoy some of Grandma Betty's homemade strawberry ice cream and meet "Your Farmers".
